Our 80th Anniversary dinner will take place at The Riverside Church in the City of New York on Friday, October 23rd. We are looking forward to a fantastic night celebrating our honorees, taking a trip down memory lane and raising funds for the Nunemaker Center.
The Holmes Board of Directors and Fall Dinner Committee are proud to announce our Honorees, Dr. Ansley W. LaMar and Superkidz Kamp. Ansley’s relationship with Holmes spans more than 60 years, beginning as a camper, continuing as a counselor, to serving multiple terms on the Board of Directors. His experiences at Holmes shaped his lifelong commitment to leadership, service, and personal growth, inspiring him to found SuperKidz Kamp. Through that program, he has extended Holmes’ mission by helping young people build confidence, develop character, discover their strengths, and grow as compassionate leaders. The Riverside Church in the City of New York is an inter-denominational church, influential on the nation’s religious and political landscapes. The Riverside Church is situated at one of the highest points of New York City, overlooking the Hudson River and 122nd Street, covering two city blocks. The 20-floor tower, rising to a height of 392 feet, makes it the tallest church in the U.S. and the second tallest in the Western Hemisphere. More
To kick off the night, we will also offer a pre-cocktails tour of this magnificent and historic church.
The Holmes fall dinner and awards presentation is our largest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds are used to make needed improvements to camp building and fund programming for adults and youth.
Can’t attend, make a donation here. Check back for updates. More about our honorees coming soon!
