Selah: The Sacred Pause
In the Psalms, the word Selah invites us to pause—to stop, listen, and make room for God. In a world that can feel increasingly chaotic, divided, and uncertain, it is easy to become overwhelmed and exhausted by all that is happening around us.
This retreat is an invitation to pause in the midst of it all. Together, we will step away from the noise, breathe deeply, and make space to listen for God. Through Scripture, conversation, prayer, and quiet reflection, we will explore how sacred pauses can help us find peace without ignoring the troubles of the world, renew our hope when we are weary, and remember that even in uncertain times, God is present and at work.
We will also welcome Lindsey from The LAB Wellness for a Sound Bath Session. Sound baths are a fully immersive meditation experience that use sound frequency to bring you calm, reduce anxiety, work through mental blocks, and in some cases relieve tension and discomfort in the body. You hear a series of instruments including crystal singing bowls, chimes, tuning forks, rain sticks and more.
